Bukki

Bukki (Hebrew: בקי, Buqqī; "Name means::wasteful") (fl. 2683-2763 AM) was the fifth high priest of Israel and an ancestor of Ezra. (1_Chronicles 6:5,51 , Ezra 7:1-5 )

Bukki is one of three high priests of the line of Eleazar who held the office between the death of Phinehas (2603 AM) and the investiture of Eli (2843 AM). Each of these three men is estimated to have held the office for eighty years. Bukki held the high priesthood during the careers of Judges Ehud and Deborah.
