Ishbak (Hebrew: יִשׁבָּק, Yishbâq ; "he releases") was the fifth son of Abraham and Keturah.
Descendants
Ishbak was the progenitor of a tribe who seem to have settled to the east of Canaan. Otherwise, secular records seem to be silent concerning them. His descendants may be the people referred to in a cuneiform inscription known as Jasbuqu.[1]
