Hadar
From CreationWiki, the encyclopedia of creation science
Hadar (Hebrew: חדר, Chădar; "chamber") or Hadad was one of the twelve sons of Ishmael listed in Genesis 25:15. Hadar settled in Hadoram in southern Arabia; the name may also survive in the wadi el-Hadad, north of Tebuk. His name is rendered as Haddu in the Akkadian inscriptions, and was the name of a pagan god, Hadar himself, however, is unknown from secular sources.
