Descendants
Hadar settled in Hadoram in southern Arabia; the name may also survive in the Wadi al-Hadad (Arabic: الحداد وادي, Wādī al-Ḩaddād), north of Tebuk. His name is rendered as Haddu (𐎅𐎄𐎆) in the Akkadian and Ugaritic inscriptions, and was also the name of a Semitic storm-god, possibly a deified Hadar, himself. He is otherwise unknown from secular sources.
