Chilion or Kilion (Hebrew: כליון, Kilyōn; "Name means::pining, destruction") (d. ca. Died::2692 AM) was a son of Elimelech and Naomi and husband of Orpah. He married Orpah in Moabite country, lived there for another ten years, and then died.[1] (Ruth 1:1-5 )

Meaning of his name
The name Chilion literally means pining or wasting away, like a patient suffering from cancer and its frequent side effect, cachexia. Most commentators see this condition as an illustration of a common consequence of the fall of man.[2]
