Zadok (Hebrew: צדוק, Ẓāḏōq; "Name means::just") is the name of several Levites in the Bible, including:
- Zadok I, the first high priest of the Eleazarite line to have that post. King Solomon gave him that post after removing Abiathar from it.
- Zadok II, father of Jerushah, favorite wife of King Uzziah of the Kingdom of Judah (2_Chronicles 27:1 ).
Zadok is also the name of the founder of the movement in Judaism called the Sadducees, who began by opposing the tendency by the Pharisees to add the traditions of man to the Old Testament, but ended in taking things away from the Old Testament, like the concepts of resurrection, angels, and spirits.
