Tema
From CreationWiki, the encyclopedia of creation science
Tema (Hebrew: תּימא, Têmâ) was one of the twelve sons of Ishmael listed in Genesis 25:15.
Tema settled at Taima (Tema in Babylonian), a city which is located in north-west Arabia. Perhaps others settled in Yemen. Nabonidus, king of Babylon from 556-539 B.C., passed his years of exile in this city, which he also knew as Tema'. The city of Tema, with those of Dedan and Dumah formed stages in the caravan route from Babylon down to Sheba.
