The bronze laver or brazen laver (Hebrew: כִּיֹּ֥ור נְחֹ֛שֶׁת, kiyyor nechosheth) was a laver or basin located in the outer court where the priests washed their hands and feet symbolizing a purification to enter the Holy Place (Exodus 30:17-21 ). It was filled with water and located halfway between the brazen altar and the Holy Place.
