Book of Baruch

The Book of Baruch (Hebrew: ספר ברוך, Sēfer Baruch; Latin: Prophetia Baruch), occasionally referred to as 1 Baruch, was written by Baruch ben Neriah, the scribe of the Prophet Jeremiah. It is one of the Deuterocanonical books included in the Septuagint that is considered canonical by Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Christians, but apocryphal by Protestants.
