The snow sheep is a species of sheep known by the scientific name Ovis nivicola. They are native to the northeast of Siberia and live primarily on mountains, especially on the Putoran mountains. It is related to the North American Bighorn Sheep and Dall's Sheep, and some zoologists consider it a subspecies of this sheep.
