Nightshade
Scientific Classification

Nightshades are a diverse group of annual and perennial plants that grow as forbs, vines, sub-shrubs, shrubs, and small trees, and often have attractive fruit and flowers. The nightshade genus (Solanum) includes important agricultural plants such as the potato, tomato, and eggplant. Despite their use as food crops, most parts of the plants, and particularly the green parts, including unripe fruit, are often poisonous to humans. Nevertheless, many species in the genus bear some edible parts, such as fruits, leaves, or tubers.[1]
