(Redirected from Manasseh)
Manasseh (Hebrew מְנַשֶּׁה, I cause to forget, or Greek Μανασσῆς) is the name of two men and a tribe in the Bible:
- Manasseh (patriarch), son of Joseph, born in Egypt.
- Manasseh (tribe) -- descended from and named for the above.
- Manasseh King of Judah, who certainly "forgot" God until he was taken prisoner by Esarhaddon for a brief spell.
