The Humpback whale eats a verity of different things. Mostly they eat Krill, small schooling fish, herring, salmon, capelir and many other small fish. Its not so interesting what they eat its how they go on about catching there prey. The Humpback uses a smart tactic when they go hunting, they like to make bubble nets. What the whale does to make this bubble net is that they will swim around an area of prey and make bubbles and keep swimming in circles till the circle gets tighter and smaller so that there prey is in a small trapped area then they just swim up in the middle of the bubble net and open there mouths and take a big gulp of food with them. Humpback whales like to do this with other pods of humpback more bubble nets more food.
