When a Christian decides to include evolution into his or her personal belief. It requires the Christian to conform to certain views that are not Biblical. The Christian has to decide whether to believe what is written in God's word, or what man claims has happened concerning the origins of everything. In effect they make God conform to a naturalistic creation by denying God's supernatural power to create. Allowing man's ideas to dictate how God created is also an introduction to Humanism. Where man becomes smarter than God, therefore tells God how creation was done. Placing man's opinions and ideas above God, just as Lucifer wanted to place his throne above the stars of God. | |||
The power to dictate to a supernatural being is a lure for the individual to make his own realities, his own truth, and dictate his own destiny. When God is supposed to control this (the individual replaces). And because these things are done, the individual soon loses respect for God and His word. And it starts to become no problem to deny everything that does not "conform" to the naturalist-humanist view of everything. And this path can lead to total loss of faith. And is the very reason most atheists-evolutionists have no problem with the belief theistic evolution because it gives them more power to evangelize the individual to their way of thinking and belief. Because Theistic Evolution is a in between belief, where the individual can belong to 2 conflicting groups at one time. It's basically fence sitting. It's like saying that we want our sin with our salvation and we refuse to repent because we can justify our belief in our own eyes (refusing Holy Spirit counsel). And regardless of how far we may stray to one side, as long as we have a grasp on the fence means we have not committed to either side. And therefore, some how, this will just barely get us into Heaven. Fence sitting is basically a "lukewarm" life that mocks Christ. | |||
