Howard Fieldstad Ahmanson Jr. (born February 3, 1950) is a financier of many Christian conservative cultural, religious, and political causes.
Biography
Ahmanson was born on February 3, 1950. He is the son of Dorothy Johnston Grannis and the American financier Howard F. Ahmanson Sr. (1906–1968). He obtained a degree in Economics from Occidental College.[1] He has a master's degree in linguistics at the University of Texas at Arlington. He is also fluent in several languages. He is married with Roberta Ahmanson.
Discovery Institute
Ahmanson is member of the Board of directors of the Discovery Institute's Center for Science and Culture.[2] Ahmanson is a major supporter of the Discovery Institute.
