George Murphy

George L. Murphy is a theistic evolutionist with a Ph.D. in physics from Johns Hopkins and a M.Div. from Wartburg Seminary. He is currently a pastoral associate at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Akron, Ohio. He is teaching and does research at Luther College, The University of Western Australia, and Westminster College. In 1995, he won the Templeton award for science-religion course development and he is listed in the "Who's Who in Theology and Science". He professional organizations include: The American Physical Society, The Center for Theology and the Natural Sciences, and the American Scientific Affiliation.[1]
