As an alternative to natural history museums, creation science museums have been constructed by numerous organizations and ministries. They can be found all over the world with a high concentration in the USA. The largest facility until recently has been the Museum of Creation and Earth History by the Institute for Creation Research located in Santee, California. The Creation Museum and Family Discovery Center near Cincinnati, Ohio, eclipsed it upon opening in Spring 2007, being more than ten times larger.
