Having a creation YouTube channel

If you start a channel and post creation videos, or anti-evolution videos. You should know that there is a group of anticreationists, that are on YouTube, and that their main goal is to make your time on YouTube not productive. They have even found ways to bait creationists into breaking the law, and then threaten to sue them. And they even gloat about what they have done, and who they have done it to. For they will make a video about it and use other YouTube member names.

How they bait a creationist

They will choose one of the creationist videos, download it and edit it. The edit is basically to make fun of the creationist video and the creationist himself. Now as big as YouTube is, normally the creationist would not see such a video. So to make sure that he does. They will have the same name on the video with one or two added words. Use the same search word tags that the creationist used on the original video to make sure that the video will come up next to the original one in a search. All to make sure that the creationist who made it sees the other one.

And if that does not work, they will have one of their anticreationist friends message you. Or use one of their sock puppet accounts (same member using several account names), so that it does not look like they were searching the creationist out.

Leave or go to court

When their bait works, and you do break the law by making specific claims to copyrights that are not on file. Then they will threaten to take you to court and sue you. Or, tell you to leave YouTube for a year or never come back, and they will drop the case against you.

Example of a threat message

6C of the user agreement

6C You also hereby grant each user of the YouTube Website a non-exclusive license to access your User Submissions through the Website, and to use, REPRODUCE, DISTRIBUTE, DISPLAY and perform such User Submissions as permitted through the functionality of the Website and under these Terms of Service.

I have emailed you and explained YouTube user agreement part 6C which means you already have given me permission to copy your videos (By uploading them to YouTube)

I have explained a false copyright claim by you is against YouTube user agreement and will result in his banning when I file a counter claim.

Also its purgery (Criminal offence) to file a false copyright claim.

Also you are liable for civil and punitive awards against you in court for a false copyright claim.

He should contact a lawyer as the copyright claim form suggests. I suggest an international copyright specialist, this will cost 500$ an hour for atleast 3 hours to get their opinion. Failing to get legal advice and take it when youtube have suggested you do it, will not look good for you when it comes to time to decide how much punative awards are due to your false claim.

Now you have been educated (this email will be supplied in court), your "I did not know" you will use in court will be seen as the Lie it is. Not that being ignorant of the law is any excuse, as you seem to think it is the case of science.
The gloat: You think your the first fundy to file copyright claim against me? 6 others have all their videos are back up on my accounts. The same will happen with yours :)

These threat messages have been sent to several creationist YouTube Channels. So beware and it is best not to even respond. Because responding is part of the game to bait you. They cannot bait you if you ignore them.

How to avoid this situation

Never claim copyrights to things you don't have copyrights on. Just because it has originated from you, does not mean you have exclusive rights to it. And posting it on YouTube also affects the rights you do have because you are submitting to their agreements.

Obtaining copyrights to your works

Obtaining Copyrights for your original works is not as expensive as you might think if you know the right sources. Having a Copyright for your works means that you can ask for people who want to use your work to ask permission first. And it allows you to claim Copyrights at the end of each video that you make. And block people who want to edit your original work. One can obtain inexpensive Copyrights from Legal Zoom It costs less than 200 U.S. dollars, but if you are serious about your YouTube ministry, and do not want the hassle of dealing with the anti-creationist hate groups on YouTube. Then this maybe the route one might need to take.

If you do respond

Be careful about what you say. They will post the creationist messages to the anticreationist on YouTube either in the blog section under a video, or in a actual video . This is done to bait the creationist as well.

The one star vote

When ever anticreationists cannot debunk or refute a well put together video for creation, they will get together and do a "one star" voting campaign. This is an act to bait you into getting mad and taking action to their liking. But because such activity is not scientific in proving their beloved theory of evolution. It actually shows how weak their theory is that it cannot stand up to another person's disagreements, and challenges to it. So when this happens, just know that your video has made a point that the anticreationist do not want to see the light of day on YouTube. Voting "one star" and making bad comments under your video is their only alternative when their scientific method won't bail them out.

Using the block option

The block option was put on YouTube for a reason. This was to block people who go out of their way to annoy the other YouTube members. But because that cuts off what the anticreationist are trying to do, at the root of their game. It is the most hated option by them. And if the creationist use it, they will whine and complain that the creationist are cutting off free speech etc... Or that the creationist cannot debate them so creationist block them.

When in actuality, they got blocked for showing disrespect and acting like a child. Snide remarks, personal attacks, cussing etc... they do just to annoy the creationist. Then when they are blocked, they whine. So their attempts to reverse the guilt is not justified. So don't let their guilt trips change your mind about doing the right thing. They get blocked because they deserve it.

YouTube quick tips agree with blocking trouble makers

In the quick tips area on this page: Safety resourses page you can fnd several helpful areas.

QUICK TIPS: Flag videos that violate our Community Guidelines. Keep personal videos private. Block users whose comments or messages are bothering you. Think before you post: don't reveal personal information. Keep comments clean and respectful.

There is also an issues section on the linked to page where you can find out what you can do about people whom break YouTube rules. You also have a list of rules so that you can be sure a rule was broken before you go to all the trouble to report it.

Who to block

Just about any anticreationist that posts and has nothing better to do than cuss and call the creationist names. Or start fights with other posters under the creationist video. What the creationists need to do is not only block them, but go to their channel and see if their channel is based on hatred of Christians-creationist. If so, then all their friends and subscribers need to be blocked as well. This will stop a lot of the hate spewed from these people even before they get a chance. People do not subscribe to channels that do not support their way of thinking. So you are blocking those YouTube members who think and act the same. And therefore stopping a problem before it starts.

Side note by editor

It has long been suspected by several Christian-creationist YouTubers that the reason this hate group is so successful on YouTube is because they have insider help (someone who works for YouTube). This is believed because several Christian-creationist channels have been edited. Mine was edited as well to make the link that goes to this page no longer work. A edit that is now fixed. These edits are done with no warning, or no reason given. It is best to check your channel from time to time to make sure it has not been edited, and that all your links work.

Also, if you use YouTube Christian-creationist videos on your website, blog, forum, etc... To make your points. You need to check them to make sure they still play. Several Christian-creationist videos and YouTube channels have been removed, and more is to come. So your website, blog, forum etc..., may end up with several videos that no longer work.

How far will the anticreationists go?

One Christian creationist on YouTube who goes by the name VenomFangx has had nothing but headaches since starting his YouTube creation ministry. He is one of those people that you rarely meet that actually has talent for doing videos. He is not boring to watch. And he is very good at making his points. But because of this, and him becoming very popular among Christian YouTubers. He also became a bulls-eye for the Anticreationist group on YouTube. They did not like his ability to refute evolution claims. After several fights, false accusations, threats, and suspended accounts. VenomFangx decided to leave after receiving death threats (Update: video was removed so I suspect the person whom put it up was getting harassed). Death threats that were sent to his parents house naming his parents. And claiming to be from an Islamic group. Which is believed to be a cover for who it really was.

VenomFangx decided that this had gone far enough, so he closed his account and left YouTube. Now the reason this is used as a what not to do. VenomFangx tried to confront every anticreationist on YouTube instead of just ignoring them. This provoked a lot of what happened. You can just type in his name and get over 6,000 hits from the YouTube search engine. Over 95% of the responses are from the anticreationists who hate him. This is why the Christian YouTuber just needs to ignore them and block them. It's really not worth the trouble.

Watch out for fake Christian and Creation channels

In the anticreationists attempt to discredit Christians and Creationists. There have been several anticreationists that have put up fake Christian-Creationists channels. And they will try to become friends with other Christians-Creationists YouTube members in hopes of being able to deceive more people (make their channel look more Christian like). And be a bad example of a Christian channel. What to look for:

  1. It's a fairly new channel.
  2. The images used are not Christian. And maybe pagan religion images.
  3. Their videos (favorites, or their own) are not Christian.
  4. Their channel description is not Christian and sounds kinda new age.
  5. Their link to their homepage will not be Christian.
  6. Their friends and subscribers are mainly atheists.

Examples of hate and bait messages

  1. Just die.
  2. Kill yourself.
  3. Be gone.
  4. idiot
  5. Evolution is not debatable between scientists, they may disagree in some points, but the whole theory is now considered a FACT. GET SOME EVIDENCE OR SHUT UP!!!!
  6. SHUT THE F*** UP!!!! only fools believe with no evidence, fools like you.
  7. Seeking scientists in "creation science" to work in our laboratory of God's magic.
  8. YouTube will be informed your video is exactly the same as the one filed against, so they will need to remove yours as well.
  9. You make all Christians look like ignorant fools. You drive people away from the church when you believe ridiculous things in light of all the evidence that you go out of your way to ignore.
  10. It's unfortunate that you can't even defend your position. I bet no one has ever accused you of sending them running to an 8th grade science text book.

Examples of discouragement

  1. look at the comments on the videos...how much good do you honestly think you're doing here?
  2. This is futile. Supposing you're absolutely right, it's still futile.
  3. People like you is the reason atheist will never be convinced about God.
  4. You are an embarrassment to the god you serve.

Examples of encouragement

  1. Wow dude that's amazing. Do you mind if I use this info?
  2. Hello your videos are amazing it is good to have some people on my side in this world.
  3. Thanks! I'm definitely going to check it out, and thanks for helping me out with this!
  4. Thanks again for your hard work on here and on your excellent website! and of course God Bless!
  5. Your response to my questions are to the point with no filler and I really respect that. Very few people today care much for ideals and even less will stick up for theirs. It so good to see people such as yourself are out there to question conventional wisdom and give the masses a genuine insight to religion. And more importantly, answers far deeper than a simple evolution or science should be our guiding light.
  6. I believe God led me to your Channel.

So it can be seen that it's not all bad. One just has to learn to take the bad with the good. You may not even personally lead someone to Christ from your YouTube ministry, but always remember. Planting good seeds of truth from God may prepare someone to accept God, so that their next encounter with some one who evangelizes may be a positive one. Seeds planted are just as important as the Harvest.

Questions of the day

If evolution theory is a true fact (as many evolutionists will claim), why do evolutionists feel the need to resort to such unscientific tactics? Should not the mountains of alleged evidence be enough to convince people? Or is the real truth of the matter is that evolution is not all that it is cracked up to be, and therefore requires such actions to make up for what is missing? What is required of evolutionists, to keep the current status of evolution (a scientific theory), speaks volumes about what is wrong with the theory. Because what is it about all the actions mentioned on this page, that people feel the need to do in order to defend evolution that would make it any more scientific than it already is? Unless it is not what it is claimed to be?
