The Origin of Species

The Origin of Species or when referencing its full tittle is called, On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life was first published on November 24th, 1859, 12 years before The Descent of Man and Selection in Relation to Sex by Charles Darwin in 1871. The second edition of The Origin of Species was later released on January 7th, 1860 and is considered one of the most important contributions to scientifically understanding our observation of diversity at the species level.
