Crohn's disease

Crohn's disease is a chronic inflammatory disease, primarily affecting the small, and large intestines, but has a tendancy to spread to other parts of the digestive system as well. It is named after Burrill Crohn, the American gastroenterologist who first described the disease in 1932.
