NPS / DOI
Can I use these pictures of kangaroo rats because I think they are on national government websites: NPS DOI NPS? For the first one there is a link on the page that says padre island kangaroo rat that you click on to see the picture but the other two are on the pages. --Emilyninja 22:58, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
- Yes the NPS and the DOI are both national agencies. But with any national agency site, there remains the possibility that they are using a copyright photo - but in that case they would be identified as such. You may assume they are public domain, but always look for identifiers or credits that might identify them as coming from non-agency personnel just in case. --Ashcraft - (talk) 03:44, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Carbon cycle
I found a better picture to support your carbon cycle discussion, and put it on your article...--Ashcraft - (talk) 19:06, 28 December 2010 (PST)
Fire breathing
I think we may have had a difference of understanding about what you intended to write about. I thought you meant "fire breathing dragons" - and the possible biochemical mechanisms that could produce such an emission.
The research you are currently doing could provide a useful argument to support that such things are quite possible. But I did not think you were referring to the circus stunt itself.

Oh ok, I will just write about both then (but mostly the dragons)
