The Sentinel Group
The Sentinel Group is a Christian research and information agency dedicated to helping the Church pray knowledgeably for end-time global evangelization and enabling communities to discover the pathway to genuine revival and societal transformation.
Mission
The Sentinel Group is a community of cutting-edge researchers, filmmakers and ministers dedicated to the task of preparing needy communities for spiritual revival and societal transformation. We accomplish this goal by:
- Investigating the rising tide of divinely transformed communities to detect patterns and extract principles
- Inspiring new hope and expectancy among Christians whose neighborhoods have not yet experienced the Father’s touch
- Instructing inspired believers how to take the steps necessary for God to heal their land
- Involving revival advocates in a supportive international fellowship of transformation partners

Let the Sea Resound
This 79-minute documentary covers the astonishing revival that is currently sweeping through the nation of Fiji. An Unconventional War
This powerful documentary chronicles how fervent prayer, forgiveness and unique church-state cooperation had a major impact on taming one of history's most brutal insurgencies in northern Uganda. Approaching Fire
Approaching Fire is a 30 minute documentary that depicts the different dimensions of suffering and spiritual darkness that are found all over the earth today. It then goes on to show all the solutions that we as humans have put forth to try and overcome this ever building evil. The Olympics, diplomacy, sports, economic empowerment; all these are put forth through man's initiative, but none of them are working. This leaves the only one solution, God. Approaching Fire shows our desperate conditions, our failed efforts, and offers hope. Only when we put away our humanistic schemes and turn to the Almighty will issues be resolved and revival be seen.

Current Events
The Sentinel Group is now hosting what are called Fire Tours throughout the world. All of these tours are encompassed under the title of FireQuest. Fire quest is a two year initiative to evaluate and document more than 500 cases of transforming revival around the world. The purpose of this undertaking is to develop an accurate picture of God's contemporary handiwork, and to use this understanding to inspire hope in an increasingly hopeless age.
Project Summary
The project will unfold over a 26 month period extending from late 2007 through the end of 2009. The primary field work will be conducted by multiple teams comprised of Sentinel Group staff members and our colleagues from the International Fellowship of Transformation Partners (IFTP). Each four-person team will include a combination of researchers and videographers. Sentinel believes this intentional "story-chaining" will generate a tsunami of faith capable of buoying Christians through difficult times.
Project Benefits
In addition to encouragement that will be conveyed from community to community along the FireQuest itineraries, several other benefits are envisioned. These include:
- On location reports posted on the internet will permit interested parties to follow FireQuest as it winds across the continents. These will be made available as streaming video or downloads.
- A quarterly video series documenting select highlights of the journey will be available to subscribers under the title "FireQuest".
- Full length documentaries released under the Sentinel Group's Moving Cloud logo will feature several "best of tour" stories.
- A global revival database called GLEAM(GLobal Evidence Assessment Matrix) will be updated with information gathered through FireQuest. This will be accessible online to approved users.
- A FireQuest report containing relevant testimonies and data will be published at the conclusion of the project and be made available to Bible Schools, mission agencies, and prayer groups.
