Forming sandstone, forming a canyon
Don't confuse formation of the Coconino sandstone (catastrophic deposition of the sand during the Great Flood) with formation of the Grand Canyon (catastrophic removal of tons of rock after lithification, possibly near the end of the Ice Age). The appearance of the tracks in the sandstone has nothing to do with how the canyon was formed, possibly hundreds of years later. ~ Webster (talk) 02:01, 14 August 2014 (EDT)
