Talk:Abel

This article states that the only brothers of Abel mentioned in the Bible Are Cain and Seth. Genesis 5:4 would seem to state otherwise: "After he begot Seth, the days of Adam were eight hundred years; and he had sons and daughters."

Annotation of the date of his death

The use of the letter "a" after the "130" in the annotation of the date of Abel's death/murder is intentional and serves a purpose. The letters "a,b,c,d" stand roughly for the first day of the first full month of autumn/winter/spring/summer, in that order. Therefore I must ask that the lowercase letters in the annotation remain as specified.--TemlakosTalk 23:05, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

  • Sorry about that, Temlakos. My mistake. I didn't know about that, so thanks for bringing that to my attention. -- CelticCreationist 23:09, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
