Dark matter is "non baryonic matter", that is, it is not composed of baryons such as protons, neutrons and electrons, but something else. What is this "something else"? Something that cannot be measured, observed or tested, but behaves exactly-precisely as necessary to achieve a predictable outcome. This is nothing more than mysticism disguised as science. The Bible has a global catastrophe, the Flood, that not only resurfaced the earth, but arguably changed many aspects of Earth's prior existence at deep physical level and at a cosmological level.
