Derived from the root Naphal meaning to fall, it's translated fallen in Isaiah 14:12. I believe the word Nephilim actually refer to the Fallen Angels and Gibborim to their offspring. None of the 3 Hebrew words translated Giant actually mean that, there are people in the Bible described as very large, but their all post Flood.
