Dervived fomr the root Naphal menaing to fall, it's tranlsated falleni Isaiah 14:12. I beleive the word Nephilim actually refer to the Fallen Angels and Gibborim to their offspring. None of the 3 Hebrew words trnalsated Giant actually mean that, there are people in the Bible descirbed as very large, but their all post Flood.
