Creationism
Creationism is a belief system which postulates that the universe, Earth, and life were deliberately created by God. There are many creation theories within two main schools of study known as religious creationism and scientific creationism. In addition, a spectrum of beliefs on issues such as the age of the Earth, biological evolution, and the extent to which natural processes were involved with the development of the cosmos. Creationism is just an opposing viewpoint to Naturalism and is no more pseudoscientific than Evolution or the Big Bang.

Evidence for the Israelite Sojourn in Egypt
There is tangible evidence for the Israelite sojourn in Egypt, including thousands, possibly millions of ancient graves in the Saudi desert, mention of the midwife (Shiphrah - Exodus 1:15) at the time of Moses in Papyrus Brooklyn 35.1446 dating to the time she should have lived (around 1550 B.C.) along with other Hebrew names mentioned in the papyrus, mention of the Biblical plagues and Exodus occurring in the Ipuwer Papyrus, and existence of the distinctive Israelite 4-room house in ancient Egypt. That the Exodus completed by the 15th century may also be inferred from the Soleb Inscription and Amarna Tablets.

Exegesis
Exegesis is a critical exposition, commentary or interpretation of ancient literature especially religious books such as the Bible or Qur'an. The opposite of an exegetical reading of Scripture is eisegesis and instead of reading out what the text plainly presents it reads into the text what the reader is influenced by.

Flood Legends
Flood legends are native global flood stories that closely parallel the Biblical narrative in the book of Genesis. Similar accounts are documented as history or legend in almost every region on Earth. In The Antiquities of the Jews, first-century historian Josephus cites myriad ancient histories recording the flood, including those by Berosus the Chaldean, Hieronymus the Egyptian, Mnaseas, and Nicolaus of Damascus. In addition to these written accounts, scores of oral traditions about the flood exist throughout the world even today, including Native American and Aboriginal societies. Old world missionaries reported their amazement at finding remote tribes already possessing legends with tremendous similarities to the Bible's accounts of the worldwide flood. H.S. Bellamy in Moons, Myths and Men estimates that altogether there are over 500 Flood legends worldwide.
