Summary
Egyptian Chronology is similar to Down's Revised chronology except that the first intermediate period is contemporary with the 11th dynasty (Ref Clayton). A Biblical chronology with a "long sojourn" is used. Lehabim is tentatively suggested to be the father of the Philistines. Nimrod is the father of the Chaldeans, Javan the father of the Greeks and Mizraim the father of Egypt. Joseph is Identified as Imhotep and Moses is identified as Amenemhet IV, born during the reign of Amenemhet III, found and raised by Sobeknefru. Neferhotep is the Pharaoh of the Exodus. The second intermediate period was contemporary with the time of the period of the Judges in Israel. Egypt's New Kingdom shortly followed the beginning of Kingship in Israel. The Hyksos were the Amelekites of the Bible.
