Discoveries

Your subject would be incomplete without a discussion of the discoveries made during a perfect solar eclipse (the makeup of the sun's atmosphere, and the deflection of starlight that provided validation for the Theory of General Relativity) - and the implication put forth by Guillermo Gonzalez and Jay Richards in their book The Privileged Planet. In short, they suggest that God created the Earth in a special way so that we could do investigations.
