Welcome to the CreationWiki!
We thank the Lord for your willingness to serve Him by participating in the development of this educational resource. The CreationWiki is a collaborative effort and your help is needed. Our hope is that by working together we can build an archive of knowledge that will spread the truth of His creation throughout the world.
Please note that only creationists are permitted to edit articles. New editors are encouraged to visit the community portal to find ways of getting involved. It is also important to familiarize yourself with policy, such as the requirements for uploading images. The CreationWiki has been equipped with numerous help files that are essential for people unfamiliar with editing using the Mediawiki software.
- Policy - We now ask that editors provide references to support all article content.
- Creating a new page - Simply enter a title for your new article and click "Create page".
- Editing Help - Authoring within the CreationWiki may require a little education.
- Formatting Help - Formatting pictures and creating tables will help make your pages professional.
Ref format
Take a look at this revision to see the preferred reference method. The problem with specifying reference numbers, is that subsequent edits can quickly cause those to become confused.
Here is the help page - needed if a reference is used more than once.

Image use
I'd guess that anything on a free website is free to upload, but if I'm wrong, please give me some pointers. :-)
The policy and guidelines for image uploads can be found here. US copyright law protects all works automatically. Only certains works are inelligible, otherwise they fall into the public domain upon expiration (70 years after the death of the author). Although fair use claims are permitted, they are strongly discouraged, since the law only allows for them in limited number. An image uploaded with a "fair use" should be viewed as very necessary and with no other possible alternative available. I dont think the Bill Maher picture qualifies.
We have compiled a list of sites that contain usable images that could be found very helpful.
There's an entire category of Bill Maher at Wikimedia Commons http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Bill_Maher
FYI - You can upload a newer version using a link at the bottom of the description page for any image, but the form fields arent updated. You must edit the text after uploading the new version. http://creationwiki.org/pool/File:Bill-maher.jpg
Let me know if you need any further clarification.

Duplicate image
I could not track down where you had used this image, but it was a duplicate, and therefore deleted..

Here is the original image in the event that you needed it.

Also - note that "free usage" is not an acceptably Copyright Status. See the description on the above (original image) for the copyright status that should have been included.

Should CW allow Camping followers to post propaganda?
Help. I don't know what to do about this user: http://creationwiki.org/User:BobNashmer I discovered his page about Harold Camping, where he says, "Many good Christians, inspired by Camping's wholly Bible-based predictions, dedicated much of their time and resources leading up to the Rapture to spread his word and to donate their savings to Family Radio to bring awareness of the impending Rapture to the world. When May 21 passed uneventfully, Camping reevaluated his work and realized that May 21 was a spiritual Rapture and that the physical Rapture was set for October 21, 2011. Although many righteous Christians lost all their fortunes, there is still satisfaction in knowing it was for a noble cause. ...Camping founded Family Radio in 1958 as a non-profit organization meant to send the Christian Gospel into the world and promote the true meaning behind the Word of God.." Does the name "Creation Wiki" have to mean that we allow any and all viewpoints of any kind as long as the proponents are simply "creationists?" -- Including old earth creationists, progressive creationists, islamic creationists, mormon creationists, and harold camping followers?I know it's fair to say that CreationWiki is essentially a subsidiary or affiliate of Creation Ministries International. There's no law that says that we can't have standards for the content posted, is there? I'm concerned about the post he created and I would really like to remove false teachings I find on this site; I just want to be sure that I'm not breaking any rules in doing so. I'm waiting anxiously to have you address my concerns. Thank you sir. EriK 08:40, 29 September 2011 (PDT)
- Not sure I understand what the problem is. I'm not familiar with the subject of the article, but supporting Christian ministries is considered one of our goals. I note that the discussion page on the article was only created today. Please continue to discuss the article content, and try to keep the edits as fair and uplifting as possible.
- Concerning policy - it is not permitted to delete article content where you are at odds. Use the discussion page to suggest changes and provide justification for edits. --Ashcraft - (talk) 21:00, 29 September 2011 (PDT)
Exorcism
I'm deleting all of the pages created by user:BobNashmer, which would include the page on exorcism. I noticed however that you made some substantial changes to the page subsequently, and wanted to give you an opportunity to preserve those edits.
Please advice if you want to edit-out user:BobNashmer's contributions yourself or give me the go-ahead on a full delete.
