Fusion

Looks good. The only issue I see is the bibliography. URLs should never be visible on the page.

There are two methods used for the references - a standard and more advanced style. The formatting details can be found at CreationWiki:Citing sources.

The simplest technique involves linking to the title and placing the author and publisher outside of the bracket - like the following.

We are encouraging the use of the more advanced footnote method Help:Footnote. Its only a little more technical, but also tends to make the text more cluttered during edits.

History removed

It uses such false sources as Jack Chick, a known anti-Catholic, who lies about Catholic dogma. The article was obviously biased as to demonize the Catholic Church. Here is some info on Jack Chick and the type of material he espouses: The Nightmare World of Jack T. Chick, Primer on Indulgences, and Myths about Indulgences. CelticCreationist 00:01, 22 January 2008 (EST)

  • I didn't see anything anti-Protestant on that site, it was simply addressing false claims. CreationWiki should be accurate on all points and to include historical inaccuracies such as was included in the history section of Purgatory, is not intellectually honest. I am not accusing you of this, though; just the authors of the articles previously listed on the Purgatory page. I will be re-writing the article to make it NPOV. These articles are not intended to be "sweet or pleasant", but should include the truth, and not trumped up and baseless claims used against the Catholic Church for centuries. CelticCreationist 00:29, 22 January 2008 (EST)
  • I am an amateur apologist, so I would be interested in addressing these claims. Can you please cite where the Catholic Church teaches that Christ isn't the only way to heaven? CelticCreationist 00:49, 22 January 2008 (EST)
  • Okay, I'll talk to you later then. Being a Catholic, I do know for a fact that the Church has always taught that Christ is the only way to salvation. I do know, however, that during the Second Vatican Council many liberals, modernists, and Freemasons infiltrated the Vatican and spread much error changing a lot of Catholic doctrine. That is why I am a sedevacantist, I consider all of so-called popes from 1958 (John XXIII) to today (Benedict XVI) to be manifest heretics. To learn more about Sedevacantism check out Most Holy Family Monastery. -- CelticCreationist 01:02, 22 January 2008 (EST)
  • Could you please state what year this catechism is from? Is it from after 1963? -- CelticCreationist 23:05, 22 January 2008 (EST)

Deletion of History

I have added a lot more to the article on purgatory, but CelticCreationist keeps on deleting it and placing it as anti-Catholic propaganda. I was just using historical records to show where purgatory came from. I have also noticed that before someone wanted to right a bit more on purgatory but it was also deleted because it was marked as anti-Catholic. --EdgarMSalazar 23:45, 21 January 2008 (EST)

I only see one deletion in the history (keeps on deleting it?). I reminded him that deleting content was violation of policy, but perhaps better judgement should have been used regarding the choice of wording. Excessively criticizing any Christian or group of Christians is inappropriate. The word "robbed" for example, is very strong language and was almost certainly what prompted the deletion. Also, remember to provide credible in-text citations. --Mr. Ashcraft - (talk) 12:23, 22 January 2008 (EST)

Sun

You're welcome (regarding the formatting of the link to a Wikipedia article).

I urge you to study the Interwiki code. When we restored the site, we imported a huge Interwiki table that came with the MediaWiki installation routine. (We also use the Interwiki table to link to versions of articles, user pages, templates, and so on in other languages.) With that, you can link to an article in another wiki as easily as linking to another article in this one. And, as you saw, it looks better.--TemlakosTalk 05:44, 7 March 2008 (PST)

Media Pool versus actual creationwiki site

Why is it that if you are browsing an article on creationwiki.org you click on a file and it tells you were that picture is linked to, in the links section.... and if you go to the creationwiki media pool, not one of the pictures have any links tagged to them? For example if you check the main picture of the article Global Flood, you will see the links containing this picture....but if you go to the media pool and search that same picture, it says that there are no links tagged to it. --EdgarMSalazar 20:36, 31 March 2008 (PDT)]]

The sites are separate and communication between them is tricky. We'd certainly like that information to be available, but we're just not sure how to get it to work.--Mr. Ashcraft - (talk) 07:56, 1 April 2008 (PDT)
