I am a believer and creationist. I believe there was a literal creation in 6 days and spend my spare time studying Biblical history and how it ties in with the people today. In particular, I study DNA haplogroups and their association to Biblical people groups, utilizing genealogical studies, Biblical prophecies and characteristics, and other more obscure sources in some cases to associate the people of today with their forefathers/foremothers. As it says in scripture that genealogies are unimportant I do not study them in order to judge others for who they came from but to make the ancient world more real to the people of today by giving them a physical identity, as a spiritual identity can already be found in Christ without the need for such research.
