Usage

The basic purpose of this template is to assist the browser in choosing a font that supports the characters used. If none of the suggested fonts are installed, the browser falls back upon its own methods for automatically substituting the characters from other fonts that do have them (best case) or displaying them as "unknown character" glyphs (worst case).

In the standard form, {{unicode|some text}} will print "some text" in a font with support for a broad range of characters, which is useful for non-Latin languages. E.g. "Latin Кири́ллица Ελληνικό αλφάβητο עִבְרִית".

With the optional subject parameter, {{unicode|subject=group|some text}} will print "some text" in a font with particularly good support for that group of symbols. The groups are astro (e.g. "☆☾♄🌌"), chem (e.g. "⌬⚗🜂"), emoticon (e.g. "☺💋💘😠"), region (e.g. "🇫🇷 🇳🇴 🇺🇸"), religion (e.g. "⛤✝✡🕈"), warning (e.g. "☠☢⚠🚧"), and weather (e.g. "☀☂⛆❄🌂").
