Template:S-vac

Use at left or right to indicate a variety of vacancies. By default, this creates a box saying, "Vacant." Other reasons for the vacancy are:

• abeyance = In abeyance
• recreated = Recreated
• suspended = Suspended
• forfeit = Forfeit
• disclaimed = Disclaimed
• commission = In commission
• dormant = Dormant
• unknown = Unknown
• interregnum = Interregnum
• Any other text submitted as the first unnamed parameter will display in bold

In addition to the brief reason, you may give further explanation by using:

• reason = A detailed reason. Any text or link.

A vacancy is a break in succession, and therefore this template must specify the title holder at the other end of the break.

• last = Title last held by
• unknlast = Last known title holder (use with "unknown" tag)
• next = Title next held by
• unknnext = Next known title holder (use with "unknown" tag)

All these are article titles that annotate as appropriate.

Optional:

• as = Title changed to/from.
• rows = Row span.
