Template:Lexicon

This template creates a link to the lexicon page at http://www.biblestudytools.com/ for a given word, optionally displaying corresponding English for the specified translation. It takes two or three unnamed parameters that must be in the correct order. It also takes up to two optional named parameters that may be in any order.
- The first unnamed parameter must be "Hebrew" or "Greek" (capitalization doesn't matter).
- The second unnamed parameter must be the exact name of the lexicon page (the part between the last "/" and the ".html"). Usually, this is just the transliteration of the word, but it may omit an apostrophe or add a hyphen-and-number combination (example below).
- The third unnamed parameter is where one may specify the transliteration, if different from the page name. If omitted, the page name will be used.
- version= must specify the King James Version, or the New American Standard Version will be assumed.
- english= the English word or words used in the KJV or NASV. If defined, this will also prompt display of version, unless ...
- novn= will suppress display of the version name with the translation.
Example:
- {{lexicon|Hebrew|daah-2|da'ah|version=KJV|english=vulture}}
- da'ah (KJV vulture)
