The author of this new article (started on {{{date}}}) requests that editors refrain from making changes while the intended work is performed. In the meantime, post reviewer comments on the discussion page.

Usage

The {{Active edit|date=?}} template message is placed at the top of an article when the originating author needs time to finish the work. It allows a 1 month maximum hold on editing.

The tag is intended to inform people that the article should not be edited. The template takes one parameter, the date that the reservation was requested (e.g. June 14th).

NOTE: The parameter name ("date") must be all lower case.
