Josephus
I feel it should be mentioned how Josephus seems not match the Masoretic sometimes but the Septuagint others.
His dates for the Genesis 5 Genealogy match the Masoretic, but for his account of the Genesis 11 Genealogy he contradicts himself. He gives a total agreeing with the masoretic (If you interpret Abraham as being born when Terah was 70), but he goes on to list dates that seem like the Septuagint numbers except they don't have an added Cainan between Arphaxad and Shelah.--MithirandirOlorin 13:38, 26 May 2011 (PDT)
