solar wind

Solar wind is a constant source of particles being spewed into space that do end up on the moon's surface. Solar wind particles, plus space dust, puts particles on the moon's surface a lot faster then science would like admit to. Also solar wind is deflected by the earth's magnetic field. Which means that any probe sent to orbit the earth to collect a samples, would get wrong readings because a very small amount of solar wind particles would get through. The moon is far enough away from the earth's magnetic field that the moon is not protected on a constant bases from the bombardment of solar wind particles.[http://creationwiki.org/User_talk:Ikester7579 Talk] 07:04, 17 September 2007 (EDT)
