Silly question, but I seem to have read somewhere that men and women have varying number of ribs depending on their height. Can anyone confirm or falsify that idea. If true, it perhaps should be mentioned in the page. I found it interesting that ribs can grow back. --John Baab 19:28, 8 February 2007 (EST)
After checking on the internet, everthing I have seen so far shows that both men and women have 24 ribs (twelve pairs), though the people involved simply said, "find an x-ray and count them".--John Baab 08:41, 15 February 2007 (EST)
