I don't know that "metaphysical" is the best word choice. Metaphysical can mean supernatural, but it can also mean other things[1], like "relating to metaphysics" or "overly abstract." Also, to be a creationist is not necessarily to be a supernaturalist. Some don't see anything more "supernatural" about God creating life than an artist creating a sculpture. I think we'd do best to use the word "creationistic," because it goes to the heart of what they're opposed to: the idea that we were created. What do you think? Ungtss 16:52, 2 March 2006 (GMT)
I agree. Reverse the edit if you'd like. I'm not sure I've seen the word creationistic used before, but I dont have another suggestion either. --Chris Ashcraft 17:52, 2 March 2006 (GMT)
- No argument, however, I changed it because it seemed to say that they were focusing on creationist theories more than intelligent design. PrometheusX303 20:17, 2 March 2006 (GMT)
- Good point. I stuck ID in there too. Hope that solves the problem. Ungtss 20:58, 2 March 2006 (GMT)
