Javan being similar to Ion isn't the only reason for the Identifications, Iapetus is the distant Ancestor of Greece in greek mythology, deified as a Titan. Dodonim is obviously the origin of Dodona and Rhodes and others. Kittim is most directly connected with Cyprus but I feel the likely colonized Crete and other southern Greek islands as well. Elishah is obviously linked to Helen, Eleusís, Elysion and the goddess Eileithyia.--MithirandirOlorin 16:21, 28 May 2011 (PDT)

Bill Cooper appendices in After the Flood have pretty good documentation of all this.--MithirandirOlorin 16:21, 28 May 2011 (PDT)

There where non Indo=European in Pre-Hellenic Greece, who the greek referred to as Pelasgians, Arcadians, Sintians and other such terms (I believe they where Canaanites base don Genesis 9 and other clues), but they where already nearly completely suplente by the start of the Heroic age.--MithirandirOlorin 16:21, 28 May 2011 (PDT)

Nennius 18 traces Dardanus founding of Troy back to ELisha.--MithirandirOlorin 16:23, 28 May 2011 (PDT)

The Danaans in Greece only permanently effected the Royal Line, the Dorian royalty intermarried with the descendants of Herakles before conquering the older inhabitants of the Peloponnese. Reading to much into the Dan and greece connection leads to Ideas that are very Anti-Semitic.--MithirandirOlorin 16:25, 28 May 2011 (PDT)
