Talk:Exodus, Chapter 1
This is a proposal for Creationwiki, i.e. an online study Bible.
My intentions to that end are the following:
Use of the King James Bible as the only biblical text, without changes to words or meaning. The biblical text shall have the prominent position on the page; study helps by comparison will be in a secondary position. The pages themselves are in single chapter format, connected to the complete book via a bottom template. This is to enable the reader to concentrate on one chapter at a time.
Like many printed Bibles today, each verse as much as possible will be linked to other, comparable verses elsewhere within the Bible. The idea is to let "Scripture interpret Scripture". The basis for this are the many center-columned cross-reference Bibles, such as by Cambridge, as well as the structure laid down within the Thompson Chain Reference Bible. Any other references - such as to the pharaohs included as part of the footnotes on this page - shall be based on facts, and linked to other articles within this site or elsewhere online. Due to doctrinal differences I will not consider any other version.
The date listed at the top of the work is based on Bishop Ussher's calulations, and is used as a working model only.
Illustrations, when included, shall be specific to the chapter only. Karajou (talk) 17:04, 29 December 2021 (EST)
