Talk:Australopithecus was fully ape, closer to chimp (Talk.Origins)

There were several uses in this article of the word "Australopithian". As I had never heard of this word, I searched One Look Dictionary on the web, yet none of its vast dictionary sources had heard of the word either. I then typed it into Google. Google gave only two uses of it: one was from CreationWiki and the other was on a forum.

I think it should be "australopithecine," not "Australopithian." So I have changed it to that in our article. If it is a new word that I am just unfamiliar with, and all you people know it, then feel free to change it back. But none of the souces cited in the article used that word, although they used "australopithecine" frequently. Also, I believe "australopithecine" as an adjective should have a lower-case "a," but in the species name it should have a capital "A" -- namely "Australopithecus." -- Tim --Klang 20:17, 26 June 2006 (CDT)
