Talk:An old earth would be covered by 182' of meteoric dust (Talk.Origins)
Re: "Once again Talk Origins is using an out of date statement from and old source. This is not used any more."
You're underestimating badly - I saw someone use this and the moondust argument last week on www.theologyweb.com

Irrelevant - if you find Creationists using outdated arguments, then do us a favour and point them to reputable creationist organisation references to show them not to use it.
I found a similar argument in Walt Brown's book (number 81). He says 16 feet of dust and adds that "Because this dust is high in nickel, Earth’s crust should have abundant nickel." He references a 1975 article in CRSQ 12(1) by Peter A. Steveson. I'm not a member of the Creation Research Society so I can't read the article. Could somebody who has access read the article and see if it has any effect on this claim? --Ambassador (talk) 17:15, 14 March 2017 (EDT)
