Talk:Amount of dissolved sodium in oceans (Talk.Origins)
273 million years?
The article currently says:
- This new net influx rate results in a maximum age for the oceans of 273 million years. This result is still far less the 3 billion years required by Evolution's old Earth model.
Unless I'm missing something, a higher influx rate would reduce the age below the 62-million-year figure, not increase it to 273 million years. (The latter figure does not appear in the original paper.)

3 billion years required?
The age of the earth is believed to be 4.6 billion years, can you explain to me why you said 3 billion years?
