This story of Ruth begins with Naomi, Elimelech, and thier two sons: Mahlon and Kilion. Now Noami and her family were traveling from Bethlehem, Judah to the country of Moab. Soon after that Elimelech (Naomi's husband) died and she was left with her two sons. In that country of Moab Mahlon and Kilion married women by the names of Orpah and Ruth. The marriage didnt last long because about 10 years later both Mahlon and Kilion died, leaving three widows in the household. All three of the women grieved for the lost of their husbands and sons. | |||
