'''Paleontology''' is the study of ancient life preserved as fossils. Paleontologists use fossil remains to study and understand the life of organisms better. They contain very interesting facts and knowledge about how the earth started and came to life. Fossils can also help paleontologists understand the environment around organisms as well. Fossils can also show how an organism was living when they were alive. Fossils can tell us how animals were behaving when they were alive. Paleontologists found that out from groups of skeletons around each other in one site. Paleontology did not become an actual practice until the 1800s. People started to realize that fossils could tell us how an organism lived back in the past in the 1700s. Henri Marie Ducrotay, in 1822 decided to call the study of fossils, Paleontology. One evidence that paleontologists have is that dinosaurs was with humans at the same time. There are many clear evidences that God created the world and creation did happen. for example, the age of the dinosaurs bones. The age of their bones are supposed to only be around thousands of years old and not millions. Another clear evidence is that their are fossilized human footprints next to dinosaur footprints. They concluded that dinosaurs and humans coexisted and lived on earth together. It proves that the Bible was correct because God did talk to Job about dinosaurs. One more clear evidence that creation did happen, is how the Australian Whale died. What the fossil theory says is that when animals die in the water, they tend to immediately sink. In this case though, the Australian Whale did not sink immediately. Instead the Whale was floating when it died and proved the fossil theory wrong. Paleontologists work very hard at what they do, and they're trying their best to find out the history of our amazing world! | |||
