Claim

George Dillman has the ability to knockout out a person through the use of chi.

Response

1: One of George Dillman's main students appeared on Fox news Chicago. He demonstrated several of the no touch knockout on his students, but he failed to apply them to news casters and several jujitsu students. He then claim only 40% of the population is affected. [1]

2: Another of his student were subjected to a similar by national geographic. Upon his failure to knockout the skeptic, George Dillman claimed that "“The skeptic was a totally non-believer. Plus – I don't know if I should say that on film – but if the guy had his tongue in the wrong position in the mouth, that can also nullify it chi power. You can nullify it – you can nullify a lot of things. In fact, you can nullify it if you raise those two big toes! If I say I'm going to knock you out, and you raise one toe, and push one toe down....I can't knock you out. And then, if I go to try again, you reverse it. If you keep doing this, I won't knock you out". [2]

3:Dillman isn't the only chi master under critical exmine. Master Ryukerin offered a 5000 dollar challenge to fight any opponent. Sadly, it was accepted by a karate student and Ryukerin was quickly defeated.[3]

4: Dillman's interpretation of kata bunkai continuously disagrees with those of other karate traditions and he has not shown any connection with Okinawain martial traditions. He confuses moves found in kihon for pressure points, but most karateka teach that they are blocks, joint locks, strikes, and holds.

5: It would appear in several demos of the no touch knockout, the person on the receiving end of the "chi" slaps out the fall (a means to break a fall[4]). In order to do this one must be awake, not knocked out. Thus they are faking. In a video showing Dillman himself being knockout, he clearly slaps out the fall. [5]
