Summary
Yesterday was a cracking day to be out and about in Dorset. The weather forecast was for heavy rain by Sunday ( wrong!!) so I decided to cram in as much time outdoors as I could. In the morning I visited Morden Bog & Higher Hyde. Unfortunately my camera batteries died by lunchtime but bumping into Chris ( aka Roly) at Higher Hyde he invited me to join the Dorset Wildlife Paparazzi ( DJL, Zebediah & Roly) at Kilwood in the afternoon. The undoubted stars of the show at Kilwood were a magnificent Emperor Dragonfly ovipositing in the pond and this beautiful Southern Hawker.
