Summary
U.S. Marine Eskin C. Kuhn was at Guantanamo Bay (American military base) in 1971, when he saw what he described as two "pterodactyls" fly past him at "close range." Being a talented artist, he concentrated on their appearance and, within minutes, drew this sketch of the two flying creatures. Many years later, this kind of cryptid (animal of cryptozoology, not yet classified in Western science) became known as "ropen."
